Together with FAI to protect Italy’s cultural and artistic heritage
A renewed commitment to support local communities and raise awareness among our employees about the importance of protecting Italy’s cultural and artistic heritage.
Italy is a true treasure chest of culture. Known worldwide for its rich history and art, it holds the highest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Every part of the country tells a unique story.
This cultural heritage includes monuments, artworks, traditions, and stunning landscapes. It is priceless, but also fragile. That’s why protecting it is everyone’s responsibility: institutions, non-profits, companies, and citizens.
As Mitsubishi Electric, we are proud to once again support FAI (the Italian National Trust) this year as a Corporate Golden Donor. FAI is a non-profit foundation that has worked since 1975 to safeguard and promote Italy’s historical, artistic, and natural heritage.
Supporting FAI aligns with our mission to be responsible members of the communities we operate in. It reflects our commitment to reducing our environmental impact and actively contributing to community wellbeing. It also helps us raise awareness among our employees about the value of cultural and artistic preservation.
Every year, Mitsubishi Electric offers its employees 100 free passes to visit FAI sites, and gives away 4 annual FAI memberships through a staff raffle. Employees also have the option to purchase their own FAI membership at a special discounted rate.
The initiative is welcomed enthusiastically by our people, who share the commitment to preserving Italy’s cultural identity and keeping its history alive.
